Known as the land of Malbec, one of the most important winery regions in Argentina and where the largest number and most famous wineries in Mendoza are located.
Back in 1852, the Argentine educator Domingo Faustino Sarmiento sent for the French scientist Michell Aimé Pouget to improve the farming systems and the quality of the grapes, it was in that year when the scientist Michel A. Pouget arrived with the first Malbec vines to the Luján de Cuyo area, where the first Icon varietal vines were planted.
The Luján de Cuyo region is located between 900 and 1,050 meters above sea level, where the terroir is perfect for growing this grape. The word terroir is of French origin and is a combination of climate, soil and human labor.
It is in this region where you can enjoy wonderful wineries, the most awarded wines in Argentina and exceptional gastronomy, where the experience of tasting excellent wines merges with the most exquisite foods that the wineries offer.
The tour in this region consists of visiting 3 wineries, giving our advice and experience. After visiting the first two wineries, in the last winery our clients will be ready for lunch paired with the best wines, thus closing their experience with a flourish.
